These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Dojo Circle (the "Service"), operated by Dojo Circle ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
Dojo Circle is a management platform for martial arts schools ("Dojos"): class scheduling, attendance, belt progression, tournaments, membership billing, and communication between a Dojo and its staff, students, and families.
An organization ("Organization Admin") signs up and is responsible for the accounts it creates or provisions underneath it — dojo admins, teachers, students, and parents/guardians. Where an account belongs to a minor, the Organization or the minor's parent/guardian is responsible for that account and for any consents required to create it; Dojo Circle does not verify age or parental consent itself. Keep login credentials confidential — you're responsible for activity under your account.
Organizations are billed based on active student count, currently $1.00 per active student per month, charged automatically via Stripe. Pricing may change with reasonable notice (see our Pricing page for current rates). Subscriptions can be paused or canceled from the Organization's billing settings; access may be restricted for unpaid or canceled subscriptions.
Where a Dojo enables online membership fee payments, those payments are processed via Stripe directly to the Dojo's own connected bank account. The Dojo — not Dojo Circle — is the merchant of record for those charges and is responsible for its own pricing, refunds, and payment disputes with its students and families. Dojo Circle facilitates this connection but is not a party to the underlying transaction.
Whatever an Organization enters into the Service — student records, attendance, messages, curriculum, and similar — remains that Organization's data. We process it to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and don't use it for any other purpose.
Organizations may send email announcements and campaigns to their own students and families through the Service. Every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe honored immediately. We may also send you transactional emails (e.g. account verification) related to your own use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or misuse. On request, we'll provide a reasonable window to export an Organization's data before deletion, except where we're required to delete it sooner.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dojo Circle isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email; continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
